Why I’d buy, why I’d skip
Why I’d buy
- You are an early adopter who accepts first-party specifications only.
- Focus tracking is the reason you would buy, and a four-to-eight-week wait is fine.
Why I’d skip
- You want proven noise cancelling today. $499 buys tested hardware with money left over.
- You want independent reviews before spending $499. None exist yet; the first units only started shipping.

- Status

What holds up
- Neurable is unusually clear about limits: it says EEG reads electrical activity at the surface and “doesn’t read thoughts, words, images or mood”.
- It says the product is not a medical device and that it does not sell brain data or use it for advertising.
- Shipping has started. The launch post said November; the store now says the first 700 customers are being served and new orders ship in four to eight weeks.
What to weigh
- No one independent has reviewed a shipping unit yet. The specs above are the maker’s.
- The store showed a “Sold out” badge while still taking orders. Read the ship estimate at checkout.
- At $499 there is no price history to judge a deal against.
