MOVA V50 Ultra Complete

The value pick in my robot vacuum appraisal, with one weak spot reviewers agree on, and no stock at MOVA's own store when I checked.

The same page showed $699 on Oct 6. The listing's address ends in "live-only", which may mean a livestream-only SKU; I have not found the standard listing.

Why I’d buy, why I’d skip

Why I’d buy

  • Your floors are usually clear of cables, socks and pet toys, and you find one in stock near $750.
  • You have a larger home or pets and want flagship-style cleaning at mid-range money.

Why I’d skip

  • You need it this week. Both colours were sold out at MOVA’s US store on Oct 7.
  • Your floor is an obstacle course. Reviewers call obstacle avoidance its weak spot.
  • You have no room for a bulky dock.

What holds up

  • About $750 against $1,100-plus for the flagships it is compared with, when it is in stock.
  • Vacuum Wars says it bought and tested one and ranked it first on its top 20 for a time; its October 7 update says a newer model has since taken that spot.
  • Feature Lens says it suits larger homes and pet owners.

What to weigh

  • Neither colour could be bought at MOVA’s own store on Oct 7, and the price had moved from $699 to $748 in a day.
  • Below-average obstacle avoidance is the weakness reviewers name. Best Robot Vacuums said so when I first read it; that page could not be re-read, so treat the detail as unverified and the pattern as consistent across reviewers.
  • The 24,000Pa suction figure is a marketing number.
